| Renovation of the first floor area below the media center is now underway. Formerly classrooms, this area will become the lower level of the media center. A staircase will connect the two levels. |

| Opening the ninth grade center by Jan. 5 allowed space on the first floor beneath the media center to be vacated. This area has been gutted and renovations will create a second floor to the media center. |

| Work to complete classrooms in the ninth grade center was done over winter break. |

| The exterior of the fieldhouse has been bricked. The addition will provide space for physical education classes. |

| Inside the commons area, the terrazzo floor is installed and walls and ceiling are being completed. The commons is expected to open to student use in the coming weeks. |

| The new commons / cafeteria space next to the ninth grade center has been enclosed and windows are installed. |

| On each floor, classrooms for core subjects surround resource areas, which have lockers and computers for students to use. |
