District taking applications through Nov. 11 for high school task force

Moorhead Area Public Schools is continuing the implementation process for the Facilities Master Plan, which calls for a number of task forces to review recommendations made by the Facilities Master Planning Task Force. Applications are now being taken for the Designing Moorhead High School’s 21st Century Academic and Instructional Program Community Task Force.
Applications are being accepted online through Nov. 11 from community members interested in serving on the high school task force. The task force will include representation from stakeholder groups in the community. Applications may be submitted at https://goo.gl/forms/m20qEi0Qi3NaPhhy2 or contact the Superintendent’s Office at 218-284-3330 for a paper copy of the application.
Facilitators from Minnesota School Boards Association will work with the school district on the process. The two-year process will include research, site visits, speakers and listening sessions. An interim report will be completed at the end of the school year with the final report presented in 2018.
