We Are Proud: PBIS Sustaining Exemplar School

We Are Proud of S.G. Reinertsen Elementary School for being recognized for its successful work using Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), a data-driven program that provides training and support to promote improvement in student behavior. Reinertsen Elementary is one of 30 schools out of 478 schools using PBIS in Minnesota to be named a Sustaining Exemplar School by the Minnesota Department of Education. Sustaining Exemplar Schools are identified as leaders in supporting positive behavior, improving school climate and increasing student achievement. Members of this year’s Reinertsen PBIS team are Melissa Nesler, chair, Cori Carter, Sarah Wothe, Jessica Rome, Olivia Stephenson, Megan Dahl, Judy Werner and Travis Okerlund. Anne Moyano is the principal at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary School.
