We Are Proud D'Agostino

We Are Proud of Moorhead senior Chrisanto D'Agostino, who won a national weightlifting title at the National Junior Championships in Pleasanton, Calif. D’Agostino took first place for his overall total in the 96 kilograms (212 pounds) weight division. He lifted a combined 291 kilos (642 pounds) between the snatch and clean and jerk. Moorhead weightlifting coach Cory Hermann said D’Agostino is the first Minnesota lifter to win a National Junior championship. Weightlifting coaches are Cory Herrmann, John Lubitz, Lexi Thomas, Dylan Surface, and Erin Eidelbes.
