Superintendent's Spud Award Nomination Form

Nominate exemplary employees, students, parents and community members by completing all the information below. Please provide as much information as possible to demonstrate what the nominee has done to deserve the award. No self-nominations will be accepted.

Employees cannot be nominated for actions that fall within their required job duties, even if they do them exceptionally well. The nomination must demonstrate that the person has gone above and beyond what is expected.

The awards will be selected from the nominations received electronically. A person may receive the award one time per year. The awards will be presented at School Board meetings.

Not all nominations will receive an award. Consideration is given to nominees who possess one or more of the following criteria:

  • Display exceptional performance in their action and behavior above and beyond their duties.
  • Take extraordinary steps to achieve results that enhance teaching and learning, student support or operations or positively impact the community.
  • Display leadership, initiative, pride, respect and dedication in addition to regular duties or areas.
  • Lead staff successfully through change in extraordinary circumstances.
  • Go the extra mile to exemplify the tradition of excellence in all interactions with customers, including students, parents and community members.
  • Have a "can-do" attitude that focuses on service and motivates others.
  • Show a record of accomplishments and creativity and continues to bring new vision to the district.
